Graduation Plans

There was once a college student living in a sleepy upstate college town around the millennial. He had big ideas and a really messy apartment filled with dogs, roommates, roommate’s girlfriends, people on the couch, an “Ingersoll original”, dirty spittoons, and aluminum collectibles. He took a painting class as an elective in his senior year and when it came time to make the final painting of the class, the assignment being, paint whatever you want, he painted this. An alien abduction of his apartment above the extreme left wing bagel shop. He gave it the title “graduation plans”. A very realist friend of his named Jonah pushed back on the idea calling it a bit too complacent, but this was our painter’s reality…….
